Halloween!

With Collin being Spiderman it only seemed fitting that Sam be the Hulk. Seeing as he moves stuff around and when he gets mad he throws stuff and i'm sure eventually will break stuff to. (i hope not but...) Hulk SMASH!

Punki'n Patch!

We went to a pumpkin patch about two weeks after the apple orchard and boy was it nice! around 30 degrees warmer! We went with the Norks Dan, Mara and Lilly. Dana had to work. It was nice to see Dan and the girls.

Apple orchard

We went to Aadamotts apple orchard at the beginning of October and boy was it COLD! We went with our friends the Golden's Jen, Ben and Andreas. We did not pick any apples it was way to cold.

We went to Wisconsin Rapids for Cousin Brad and Joleens Wedding. Sammy is not the Traveler that his brother is, but that is ok. We had fun seeing Memaw and Buppa even if it was for a short time. Poppa will post some pictures from that trip soon. But here's a teaser. I almost forgot that we went to the Minnesota landscape arboretum before then, and we'll get some pictures of that too.

Life as we know is changing FAST!

The year is already 2 months gone. Spring is around the corner and life with Sam gets more exciting everyday. Within the span of about 12 days Sammy went from puling him self to his knew, to pulling to a stand to scooting around furniture standing up.

Our lives are changing fast. We have rearranged furniture added more child locks. We don't leave the room unless he's secured in his crib, Which Bill refers to as the baby gulog, bumper jumper of his exersaucer. It great to see more of his personality come out everyday.

He absolutely loves looking outside and playing in the snow. During a sled ride last week he keept his tounge out so the snow kicking up could be tasted.

We have a lot of pictures to catch up on! Our friend Dan just Shared a ton of pictures he has taken since Sam was born.

This first batch is from Sam's sled ride

Growing and Growing

Sam is a SUPEr healthy 7 month old. He weighs 20 pounds and is over 28 inches long. Though very much his own person, Sammy has the same happy disposition of his brother Collin.

He is different because he is always going going going. A couple of months ago, Sam and Collin's babysitter Grandma Sue realized that Sammy LOVES the Johnny Jump up. Previously Sammy would only last bout 20 minutes in his traditional flor activity gym. We have found that Sammy will stay up to 45 minutes without complaint in the Jumper! One afternoon he even feel asleep in it, out cold he would reflexivly kick when it stopped moving.

Sam is sitting up for very long periods of time and scooching forward on the floor. Its just a mtter of time before he starts crawling. We anticipate he will move through crawling to walking smoothly and QUICKLY but of course we'll update you.

Sammy had a WONDERFUL first christmas. It was filled with family, and fun. He was visited by all his granparents which was such a treat. Of course his favoritie part of the gift exchange was all the colorful paper and tissue. He is very fond of some squishy blocks and a wobbly penguin he received.

Just a peanut

When Faythe and Al were here I uploaded some pictures from the summer from Faythe's camera. You can see how much Sam has changed in only a few months.
