That crazy Sam

Sam is doing all sorts of things lately. He is babbling and making all kinds of noises. He also likes to roll around and try and scoot about on his belly, I think he will be crawling by Christmas. Also everything and I mean everything goes into his oral data processing device. (His mouth)

Halloween

So for Halloween this year we all went as a Speed Racer character. Karole was Trixie, Collin was Spridel, Sam was The monkey Chim Chim and I Was Speed.

Borthers

Now that Sam can see father, he can barely take his eyes off Collin.  His brother is a never ending source of entertainment to him.  He will try to turn himself upside down to keep his eyes on Collin.  They make each other laugh and smile. (Even though Collin wanted to put him in a drawer.)

They are going to be the best of friends as they get older. 

Fall Days

Well Halloween is a couple of weeks away and the family is enjoying the changes that Fall always brings. The falling leaves, the cooler weather and warm fuzzy sweaters. 

We have been trying to take walks a couple times a week. 

Sam is rolling over and more vocal than ever. Sam is also a champ at eating solids.  So far he has loved everything!  Carrots, Squash, Pears, Peas, Green Beans, Sweet Potatoes.  We are very lucky to have another great eater.

We are getting ready for Halloween.  Bill will be decorating the hose for the holiday.  We will also start to put together our costumes in the next week.  We also have plans to go to the Apple Orchard with our friends the Norks next weekend.

The past two weeks have seen our extended family grow.  The Cravers welcomed a daughter named Olivia and the Hrobacks just welcomed Zachary.  Though Bill go to see the Cravers the lingering cold that the boys and I have, has not allowed us to see the Hrobacks!

On Friday Collin and Sam went to space150 (Karole's office) There were a ton of puppies for them to play with.  They hung out with Dan, Chad and the puppies.  The bottom pics are Sam sitting in the yard and chewing the blanket in his swing.

4 Month Pictures

We are fortunate that our babysitter also owns a video/photography comapny as well. She took these really cute 4 month pics of Sam. I love to see his chubby legs and belly, don't you?

Catching Up

Wow family so much has been going on. Sammy is 4 months old. He is rolling over and remains the happiest baby on the planet. (Equaled only by his brother Collin)


Over the weekend, Bill and I changed rooms with the boys. Sammy has moved from the bassinet into his crib. He is sleeping well and we are surprised that when he cries Collin sleeps right through.

Sam, Collin and I went to the Zoo over the weekend with my freind Krista. The cooler weather allowed us to opportuntity to see more animals at play. Sammy laughed at the baby monkeys. ( I think).

With the Cravers

Last week we had dinner with our friends the Cravers. They are expecting thier second baby (a girl) in a few weeks. More playmates for Sammy and Collin YEA!)

As we mentioned on Collin blog, the first week of June we hosted Bills parents. It was a relatively laid back visit. Highlights were a lovely brunch at one of our favorite places Zumbro, followed by an impulse walk to Lake Harriet and the park by the Bandstand.
